Course Discription -
This 2-day hands on course incorporates the current TECC/TCCC guidlines to provide emergency field care on the working dog. Training will be a combination of classroom and testing of aquired skills in scenarios utilizing a training K9.

Joshua Young – Instructor Bio
Joshua Young is a seasoned law enforcement officer and paramedic with over 18 years of combined service in public safety. With 10 years of experience as a police officer in South Florida, Joshua has developed a deep understanding of the complexities of law enforcement operations and crisis management. His extensive career also includes 14 years as a paramedic, where he has provided critical medical care in high-pressure environments.
Currently serving as a Chief Flight Paramedic, Joshua leads a team that delivers advanced pre-hospital care and emergency transport in air medical settings. His leadership and expertise have been integral to the success of many life-saving operations.
In addition to his hands-on experience, Joshua holds instructor credentials with several organizations, including the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE), the American Heart Association, and the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT). He is certified to teach Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) and Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC), equipping first responders with the critical skills needed to respond to trauma in high-risk situations.
